Capital Gains Tax Rate 2024. One of the most notable changes is the harmonization of tax rates. For assets held at least a year, capital gains tax rates currently range between 0% and 20%, compared with income tax rates between 10% and 37%.

It applies only to individuals with at least $100 million in wealth who do not pay at least a 25% tax rate on. The taxation of capital gains has been rationalised.
